How old are you, what grade will you be in this year and when were you diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes?

I am ten years old and I will be going into 5th grade. I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was about 2 years of age.

What did you think when you found out you had diabetes?

I didn't know what my mom and dad were doing to me.

What would you tell other kids who just found out they had diabetes? Do you have any advice for them?
I know it stinks but you will be okay. You will be able to do the same things you did before, you just have to really take care of your disease.

What do you like most about riding in the Tour de Cure Colorado?

I like seeing my friends.

What do you think you'll say or do when we find a cure for diabetes?

I would be SO happy that I didn't have this crappy disease.
